GCA Girls Varsity Soccer Team won their game vs Tempe prep by a score of 6-1. It’s our senior night game & the girls played so well pressing hard from the beginning , attacking aggressivly & defending our goal strongly. Payton Kloepping, Carina Kalkman, Sophia Byrd, Abby Beck ,Tess Bloxham & Hiedi Ulrickson scored a goal each . Byrd had 2 assists & Carina had 3 assists. we had 8 SOG & a total of 19 steals . Sam Haug had 6 Saves & 1 GA. Great win and a special one too as we recognized 4 of the finest of GCA seniors : Abby Beck , Avery Elowson, Kyla Robinette, and Ruth Gailey. Amazing Ladies with great contributions to our soccer program on & off the field. They will be missed. Great game , great win . I m so proud of all you.
